Duncan leads the scoring as Spurs take lead in vital Game 6.
Tim Duncan has 25 points as the San Antonio Spurs took a 50-44 lead at half-time against the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the NBA Finals 2013.
The 37-year-old is 11-for-13 from the field and has added eight rebounds to his first-half showing as the Spurs ended the second quarter on a 17-4 run to take the lead.
Kawhi Leonard has supported him well and has 10 points, however Game 5 hero Manu Ginobili has struggled to be effective and has gone scoreless while also committing four turnovers.
Miami had started strong, with Mario Chalmers leading the scoring with 14 points for the hosts, while LeBron James has nine at the break in what is a must-win game for the Heat.
However, their shooting regressed as the first half went on, with the Spurs doing an effective job on the defensive end to restrict them to contested jump shots.
It is an evenly poised game, as San Antonio look to wrap things up and clinch their fifth title at the first time of asking at the AA Arena.
