NBA fans have grown accustomed to seeing Blake Griffin produce stunning dunks game after game, but the Clippers star was emphatically denied on Wednesday with Ezeli continuing to impress with more minutes this season.
The Warriors and Clippers have a growing rivalry which has heated up in recent years, and the Oracle Arena will undoubtedly have enjoyed this moment en route to seeing their team move to 5-0 for the year.
Golden State cruised to a championship last season, and many doubted their ability to repeat this season which in turn led to some annoyed responses from within their camp.
However, they have seemingly put that annoyance to good use and have come out with a point to prove this season which in turn sends a message to their rivals in the stacked Western Conference.
Griffin will likely enjoy plenty of more highlight plays for the right reasons in the coming weeks and months, but on this occasion he will have to accept that he was outdone by Ezeli as the Clippers slipped to their first loss of the season to fall to 4-1.
