Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Garnett was ejected from Monday night’s game against the Houston Rockets after head-butting Dwight Howard.
It isn’t the first time that Garnett has been in trouble on the court this season as he was caught blowing into Indiana Pacers star David West’s ear last year while he was also seen on camera trying to bite Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah’s hand.
The veteran is known for his passion and determination, but it has threatened to boil over at times this season and it finally did so on Monday night at the Barclays Center.
During the first quarter of the game, Garnett was tussling with Howard inside the paint before the pair exchanged shoves. However, things then got out of control as Garnett went ahead and threw the basketball at his rival before head-butting him as they went face-to-face.
While the rest of the players then proceeded in trying to break up the situation before he became even more serious, Garnett stormed around the court trying to keep his emotions in check.
However, he had another attempt at getting to Howard but was prevented from doing so and was then led away to the end of the court before being ejected from the game. Howard was given a technical foul and endured a quiet game thereafter as the Rockets came away with the victory.
KG is not a happy man this season…
