Clippers coach Doc Rivers was angered by Jordan’s All-Star snub last week, and considering he leads the league in blocks and field goal percentage, he may well have had a point.
However, the 26-year-old is back focusing on what really matters this season and that is ensuring that his team continue their ascent of the Western Conference and book their place in the playoffs.
With the absence of Blake Griffin due to injury, many suggested that the Clippers would struggle to hold on to their spot, but a win over the defending champions will undoubtedly have given them a boost in confidence and belief that they will be able to cope without him for now.
Jordan finished the game with another double-double while Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford also played key roles. However, Spurs star Marco Belinelli will want to forget about this play in particular quickly as DJ sent him sprawling to the floor when really he should of just got out the way…
