Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose produced a big-time play on Tuesday night as his three-pointer forced double OT against the Dallas Mavericks.
Rose has returned to consistent action in recent days after injury lay-offs forced him to miss eight games already this season, and he is starting to show signs of returning to his former level of play.
While he didn’t enjoy the most efficient of nights as the Bulls went on to lose the game 132-129 after double overtime, the 26-year-old will undoubtedly have boosted his confidence with his ability to make this clutch shot.
Admittedly, there is an element of luck to it given that it’s a floater from the 3-point line, but Rose and the Bulls fans will have enjoyed it all the same as their point guard continues to have an influence on games.
Rose was heavily criticised last month after his comments on how he is trying to be smarter with his injuries, but the best way to silence his critics will be to continue playing solid minutes and producing moments like these…
