Cleveland win again for 7th in a row…
Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose had a mixed night on Tuesday, but it didn’t shake his confidence as he knocked down a jumper in OT to secure the win.
Rose ended the game with 30 points as Chicago also ended Golden State’s franchise-record 19-game home winning streak with a thrilling win in overtime.
Pau Gasol added 18 points and 16 rebounds while Joakim Noah had 18 points and 15 rebounds as the Bulls went to work in the post with Warriors center Andrew Bogut missing with flu.
Klay Thompson led the charge for the hosts with 30 points and 10 rebounds while David Lee scored a season-high 24 points for the Warriors, but it wasn’t enough to prevent them from slipping to 36-7 for the season.
Elsewhere, there were also wins for both the Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards against the Indiana Pacers and Los Angeles Lakers respectively.
Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 19 points, seven rebounds and eight assists while fellow point guard John Wall was effective in LA as he finished the game with 21 points, nine rebounds and 13 assists.
The Cleveland Cavaliers were also winners on Tuesday night as they extended their winning streak to seven games behind 38 points from Kyrie Irving.
LeBron James added 32 points as the Cavs appear to be clicking into gear and gained revenge for their heavy loss to the Detroit Pistons earlier this season.
The Milwaukee Bucks beat the Miami Heat for the third time this season as Jerryd Bayless had 15 points and seven assists for the visitors who had another shared effort across the roster guide them to the win.
Mario Chalmers had 21 points for the hosts, but it was the meeting courtside between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao which caused the most headlines in Miami on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies picked up an impressive win with Zach Randolph putting up 22 points and 10 rebounds in a road win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Chandler Parsons led the way with 19 points for the hosts, but it wasn’t enough to avoid falling to 30-16 for the season while the Grizzlies improve to 33-12.
