The Kings sealed a 101-91 win over Charlotte to improve to 23-45 for the season, with Rudy Gay putting up 33 points and nine rebounds in the game.
However, Williams stole the spotlight with this effort as he threw down the vicious slam with no regard for Biyombo who was left helpless on the floor after being dunked on.
The loss was a costly one for the Hornets as victory would have moved them up past Indiana and Boston into the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Both the Celtics and the Pacers had lost earlier in the evening and are tied for eighth place, but Charlotte remain a half-game behind after failing to take advantage.
While the win will mean little to Sacramento in the long run, it would have felt good for coach George Karl and his men to defeat a playoff contender.
