Draymond Green put up 23 points, six assists and three rebounds to lead the starters, while Shaun Livingston scored a season-high 21 points and grabbed a season-high eight rebounds off the bench as coach Steve Kerr got production right across the roster.
While it was a quiet night compared to his usual standards, Stephen Curry put on a real show for the home crowd as his 12-point performance included some incredible plays.
The Clippers got a double-double from Chris Paul who posted 14 points and 11 assists while Austin Rivers added 22 points off the bench.
However, it wasn’t enough for the Clippers who fall to 40-23 while the Warriors improve to 49-12 for the season which moves them five-and-a-half games ahead of the Memphis Grizzlies at the top of the Western Conference.
With just a month remaining of the regular season, these two teams may well see each other again in the playoffs, and their brewing rivalry shows signs of boiling over again with Rivers and Livingston both being hit with technical fouls after exchanging words in the fourth quarter.
Nevertheless, Livingston and Golden State had the last laugh and they will look to continue to dominate at home in order to secure the top seed in the West.
