Brooklyn bench perhaps forget which Teague is on their team…
Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague had one thing in mind on Friday night, and that was to get past whoever was in his way and help his team win as they look to secure the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Unfortunately for the Teague family, he was up against his younger brother Marquis, and although Jeff went on to miss the lay-up, he left his sibling on the floor with a filthy crossover.
Atlanta’s win at the Barclays Center was significant in their bid to hold off the New York Knicks for the eighth seed, as the latter also picked up an impressive win on Friday with victory over the Toronto Raptors.
However, the Hawks remain in control of their own destiny and merely need to win their next game and hope the Knicks lose in order to end the race once and for all.
Nevertheless, this effort from the elder Teague will likely make highlight reels and look out for the Brooklyn bench who appear to be pretty impressed even though their team-mate is on the floor…
