It was another feisty encounter between the two Eastern Conference foes, with the Cavs coming out on top after some ridiculous plays to beat the buzzer opened up a first-half lead.
Point guard Kyrie Irving was first to get it to drop on the buzzer in the first quarter, before JR Smith put up a shot from downtown only to see it sink in the basket as the shot-clock expired for the half-time break.
Following on the from that, Irving was back in the spotlight as his half-court heave hit nothing but net and the Cavs made the most of their luck to secure the win which all-but secures the third seed in the East.
The Bulls battled hard as they continue to fight on without Derrick Rose, although the former MVP is expected to return at some point this week after undergoing knee surgery in February.
Meanwhile, LeBron had the last word as he so often does against Chicago, but there is no denying that a playoff series between these two teams would be a real treat for NBA fans as a whole and if they come through their respective first round match-ups, they will cross paths in the conference semi-finals.
