Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry extended the team’s winning streak to 10 games after drilling a clutch pull-up three against the Orlando Magic.
The Warriors improve to 15-2 for the season to leave them level with the Memphis Grizzlies at the top of the Western Conference, with rookie coach Steve Kerr leading them to an impressive start despite his lack of experience.
Curry had been struggling with a sprained ankle but suited up to face the Magic, and after the visitors missed a late effort to move clear of their opponents, up stepped Curry with a clutch pull-up three to win the game.
Naturally, the point guard’s effort resulted in a raucous ORACLE Arena crowd being sent wild as the Warriors were able to close out the game and secure a 98-97 win over their Eastern Conference foes.
The 26-year-old ended the game with 22 points and five assists while Klay Thompson added 20 points as the Warriors rallied from nine points down in the final four minutes to pull out another win.
