Parker had 32 points, four rebounds and two assists in a sensational performance as the Bulls had no answer on the defensive end to stop him, or the Spurs in general, from scoring.
While the visitors did put up a strong fight, their morale was shattered every time they closed in on the Spurs as the defending champions hit key threes down the stretch to open up a comfortable lead and ultimately had an answer every time.
Nikola Mirotic continued his impressive form with 19 points, while Pau Gasol recorded yet another double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds.
Aaron Brook added 22 for the Bulls, but it wasn’t enough as the Spurs start to find their form with their ideal starting line-up now all healthy and firing on all cylinders with five consecutive wins.
Parker insisted after the game that it was his hamstring injury that had been restricting him earlier this season, but he is confident that it is behind him and he will look to lead San Antonio down the stretch of the regular season and into the playoffs on a positive wave of form.
