The Rockets’ season is seemingly unravelling as they fell to a 3-1 deficit in their Western Conference semi-finals clash with the Clippers, and they must now dig deep to avoid an early elimination.
James Harden has struggled to have the same impact that he has had all year, while he wasn’t helped on Sunday in particular when Howard was ejected from the game after throwing a ball at an official to earn his second technical.
However, prior to that he was caught in an exchange with who was believed to be a Lakers fan in the stands at the Staples Center, who was antagonising him by telling him not to cry as the towering center looked upset with the performance on the sidelines.
In turn, Howard can be heard asking him to “come out here” and repeats himself as if he is ready to settle the issue face-to-face before he moves on and switches his attention back the game.
It is certainly a frustrating time for the former Lakers star as well as the Rockets as a whole, as after a promising season, it appears as though they will fall short of their ultimate aim of winning a championship this year.
