Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook wasn’t in a talking mood on Saturday, and he let one reporter in particular know it.
Westbrook had just put up a triple-double against the Golden State Warriors to led the Thunder to a key win with 17 points, 15 rebounds and 17 assists.
However, when asked for his opinion on various aspects of the game, the Thunder star repeatedly referred to the “good job of execution” that his team did against the best team in the West.
Barry Tramel then picked up on the vibe and directly addressed it by asking whether or not something had upset Westbrook. He probably didn’t like the response much…
While some will argue that the questions that reporters ask after the game are tiresome and put the players through a pointless task, it is also part of their obligation and duty as NBA superstars.
These type of responses will now go viral and clearly Westbrook believes that he can coast through interviews by being stubborn and creating a gap between himself and the media.
