The Warriors held the early advantage through the opening two quarters as they continued to press the Rockets on the defensive end which in turn led to several fast breaks.
Steve Kerr will have been delighted with the intensity and energy shown from his players to start Game 2 as they look to take a 2-0 series lead in the Western Conference Finals, although Houston cut into the lead before half-time to ensure that they took the hosts’ best hit and responded.
A key to this series will be how the respective benches do, with the Warriors seemingly having the deeper roster and more talented second unit with the likes of Iguodala and Shaun Livingston leading the charge.
Plays like this will certainly get the Oracle Arena louder than usual…
