NBA Summer League gets underway and Johnson is amongst those in the spotlight.
Houston Rockets rookie guard Nick Johnson was selected in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft, but he hasn’t waited long to make an impression.
The former Arizona Wildcats star made his debut in the NBA Summer League against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday, and he made the headlines with this poster dunk over Tim Ohlbrecht in the third quarter.
College experts have previously insisted that Johnson is known for making some exciting plays, and if this effort is anything to go by then NBA fans are potentially in for some real treats next season if the youngster is given minutes by coach Kevin McHale.
Watch the video below to see Johnson throw down the hammer with his huge left-handed dunk, although he wasn’t able to prevent the Rockets from falling to a 95-89 defeat to the Pistons to open their account at the Summer League.
