No. 7 seed Michigan State established themselves as the Cinderella team of the 2015 NCAA Tournament as they defeated No. 4 seed Louisville, 76-70, in overtime.

The teams exchanged leads throughout the game, but the Spartans appeared to have the game won in regulation before the Cardinals went on a 7-2 run to close out the second half.
Louisville guard Wayne Blacksheard made a three-pointer before making two free throws to give the Cardinals a brief one-point lead.
Spartans forward Marvin Clark Jr. immediately responded with a jumper before being fouled. He missed both of his free-throw attempts, giving Louisville a prime opportunity to steal the win.
After Cardinals forward Mangok Mathiang was fouled, he made a free throw that bounced before falling into the hoop. He missed his second one though, so the game went to overtime.
Michigan State took the lead and held onto it the entire time. After Blackshear made two free throws to trim the lead to 72-70, Spartans forward Branden Dawson tipped in a failed three-point attempt before guard Travis Trice delivered the dagger with two free throws.
Trice led the Spartans with 17 points, four rebounds and five assists while guard Denzel Valentine added 15 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
Blackshear led all players in scoring with 28 points while Louisville forward Montrezl Harrell added 16 points and nine rebounds.
