Gonzaga reached the Elite Eight for the first time since 1999, and they shed their label as tournament choke artists.
The Bulldogs held a comfortable lead for most of the game as forward Przemek Karnowski led the way with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Forward Domantas Sabonis added another 12 points with eight rebounds, and guard Byron Wesley chipped in another 14 points and six rebounds.
They overcame their poor three-point shooting with excellent rebounding and passing, and they held the Bruins to 38.8 percent shooting.
Forward Tony Parker(not to be confused with the San Antonio Spurs’ point guard) scored 16 points with 11 rebounds while guard Norman Powell added 16 points and five rebounds.
Gonzaga will face the winner of the Duke-Utah game in the Elite Eight. Here are a few highlights of this convincing win by the Bulldogs.
