Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong and wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp continued to be a lethal duo against McNeese State with a 40-yard touchdown.
No. 19 Nebraska is playing their second game of the season at home against McNeese State, and their offense appears primed to continue flourishing with Tommy Armstrong Jr. as their new starting quarterback.
The quarterback completed a 40-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp, who already made a noteworthy play last week with a behind-the-back catch.
The receiver is proving to be a playmaker, and Armstrong is making Cornhusker fans forget about Taylor Martinez so far.
Here is a video from the official ESPNU Twitter account highlighting this spectacular throw.
