Nebraska Cornhusker’s RB Ameer Abdullah had 232 rushing yards on the day, but the highlight moment belonged to a teammate.
It is only Week 1 of the college football season but there may already be a winner for “Catch of the Year” – Jordan Westerkamp of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
There were bound to be some impressive moves in Nebraska’s 55-7 wallop of Florida Atlantic University, but perhaps the most impressive play of the game was not a scoring play, but a remarkable behind-the-back catch made by the Cornhusker’s leading receiver Jordan Westerkamp:
Nebraska recorded 784 offensive yards in that game (which amazingly isn’t even the school record), leaving some to wonder whether or not the Cornhuskers could have won this game blindfolded.
