J.R. Smith leads Knicks to comfortable win in Boston.
The New York Knicks sealed a 100-85 win over the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden on Tuesday night, with J.R. Smith scoring a game-high 32 points off the bench.
Carmelo Anthony added 29 points and eight rebounds for the Knicks who were still without All-Star Tyson Chandler.
The latest win took their winning streak to five games as they get their season back on track. For the Celtics, it was a complete contrast as they lost their fifth consecutive game.
Boston were still without both Kevin Garnett and Courtney Lee, and coach Doc Rivers will want a full strength roster to choose from as soon as possible.
The Knicks face the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, while the Celtics go to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers.
