Fisher leads the charts for many experts and analysts for top prospects.
Tall, athletic and rapidly growing into a promising ready-made NFL talent, Eric Fisher is all set to steal the show at the NFL Draft 2013.
In 2012, the 22-year-old received first-team All-MAC honours after starting all 12 games at left tackle, and at 6’7 and 305 lbs, he is blessed with NFL strength and quickness.
Naturally, comparisons have been made to 2007 first-round pick Joe Staley who has gone on to become one of the top linemen in the NFL as Central Michigan start to build a tradition of producing elite tackles.
A top-performer at the Scouting Combine, Fisher kept his draft stock soaring with a strong performance at his pro day in March. Analysts have him going No.1 to the Kansas City Chiefs, and he has done little to discourage them.
Despite competition from the likes of Luke Joeckel and Shariff Floyd, Fisher’s name stands out as the one to watch above the rest.
