Luck limited by hosts as Colts fall to defeat.
The San Diego Chargers secured a 19-9 win over the Indianapolis Colts at the Qualcomm Stadium on Monday night.
With Andrew Luck failing to inspire a single touchdown, the Colts had to rely on three field goals from Adam Vinatieri. However, it wasn’t enough as they slip to 4-2 for the season,
Meanwhile, opposite number Philip Rivers had a more productive night’s work as he went 22 of 33 for 237 yards, while throwing one touchdown pass and avoiding any interceptions.
The win leaves the Chargers at 3-3, and they will hope to build on that next weekend when they face the Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of their trip to London for the NFL’s second game of the season at Wembley.
As for the Colts, they host the Denver Broncos on Monday night in what should be an enthralling battle as they look to bounce back immediately from disappointment in Week 6.
