Unfortunately for MSG’s John Giannone, who was enjoying the clash between the New York Islanders and the New York Rangers on Thursday night, he wasn’t so lucky as he was hit in the face by a stray-shot in the second period of the game.
Credit to Giannone though for his dedication, who despite suffering from a cut and bloodied nose, continued to do his job as he was patched up, and later received an apology from the guilty party.
