Rosberg questioned Hamilton’s version of events after the Mercedes drivers collided during the Belgian GP at Spa.
Nico Rosberg has questioned Lewis Hamilton’s version of events as the fallout from the Belgian Grand Prix continues.
The Mercedes duo collided whilst contesting for the lead of the race during the second lap of the race on Sunday.
Hamilton told reporters at Spa that Rosberg admitted in a team meeting that he had crashed into the 2008 world champion “on purpose” to “make a point”.
Rosberg dismissed the crash as a racing incident, and said in a video blog he saw it differently from Hamilton.
“Definitely one of the more difficult video blogs today,” said the German.
“I’ve been told what Lewis said in the press and the way he has stated his version of the events. All I can say is that my view of the events are very different.
“The thing is it’s just better that I don’t now give all the details of my opinion and things like that. I hope you respect that.
“I prefer to just keep it internal.”
