Lakers seal 113-102 win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.
Despite the absence of Kobe Bryant for the first time this season, the Los Angeles Lakers still managed to maintain their momentum with a comfortable win over the Sacramento Kings.
Bryant started against the Indiana Pacers on Friday despite struggling with a severely sprained ankle. Having gone scoreless in 12 minutes, it was decided the ‘Black Mamba’ would be better off sitting it out.
His team-mates did the job without him though as Antawn Jamison scored a game-high 27 points, and was well supported by Metta World Peace and Steve Nash amongst others.
Dwight Howard registered yet another double-double as he finished with 12 points and 17 rebounds, as the Lakers hold on to eighth spot in the West and try to catch those above them.
