Strong second half sees OKC past Portland after trailing at half-time.
Despite Damian Lillard leading the Portland Trail Blazers with 19 points, it wasn’t enough as the Oklahoma City Thunder had too much offensive power and secured a 103-83 win on Sunday night.
Lillard led four of his team-mates into double figures as they led at half-time 47-45. However, the Thunder blew past their opponents in the third and fourth quarters to seal a comfortable win.
Kevin Durant had a game-high 24 points as well as 10 rebounds, while Russell Westbrook added 21. The leading duo were supported well on Sunday, with Serge Ibaka finishing with 16 points of his own.
The Thunder now move to 52-19 for the season, and closed the gap on Western Conference rivals San Antonio Spurs after their slip up.
OKC face the Washington Wizards on Wednesday while Portland host the Brooklyn Nets.
