Another 30-plus point game from Durant not enough for Thunder.
The Oklahoma City Thunder slipped to back-to-back losses on Wednesday night as they fell to a 90-89 defeat to the Memphis Grizzlies in overtime.
In what was an intense battle between these two Western Conference rivals, Kevin Durant ended with a game-high 32 points, but was unable to prevent the defeat.
Having swapped the lead 14 times during the fourth quarter and overtime, it was Marc Gasol who eventually sealed the win as his last-gasp tip-in on a Zach Randolph miss with .08 seconds remaining secured the points for the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies had their back-court to thank for the victory, with Mike Conley and Jerryd Bayless finishing with 24 and 20 points respectively.
They now travel to New Orleans to take on the Hornets hoping to extend their winning streak to close the gap between themselves and the Thunder, while Oklahoma head to Orlando on Friday to face the Magic.
