Top two in the West Conference go head-to-head.
It was a battle between the top two teams in the Western Conference on Monday night and the San Antonio Spurs came out on top of the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Thiago Splitter finished the game with a double-double, (team-high 21 points and 10 rebounds), while the Spurs had six players in double scoring figures.
Kawhi Leonard had an impressive night as he went for 17 points, including the play of the night. Having stolen the ball from Russell Westbrook, the 21-year-old went coast-to-coast before hitting the dunk.
Still without star point guard Tony Parker due to injury, Gregg Popovich will be delighted with the effort from his team as they maintain their spot at the top in the West.
The Thunder had 26 points from Kevin Durant and 25 points from Westbrook but it wasn’t enough as they slip to 47-17 for the season, while San Antonio move up to 49-15.
