No. 2 Oregon leads No. 3 Florida State, 39-20, in the third quarter of the Rose Bowl. The Seminoles are making a strong push toward defending their national title and winning their 30th game in a row.
However, the Ducks have plans to compete in the national championship game as well as their offense has not lost a step despite facing a formidable defense in Florida State.
Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota threw his first touchdown pass of the game to wide receiver Darren Carrington, who broke free and ran 56 yards to the end zone to extend the Ducks’ lead.
