The lesson to be learned in this instance is that if you are going to sit on the front row of a game in the NBA, you need to pay attention at all times.
Unfortunately for this fan, she wasn’t paying attention as she was looking at her phone when an errant pass which was tipped into the crowd proceeded to hit her directly in the face.
The impact of the hit knocked her glasses off and left her family in shock as it was later shown that she had also suffered a bloody nose as well as having to deal with the shock of being smashed in the face by the ball.
Naturally, there is a sense of feeling sorry for this poor woman after going through such an ordeal, but it is a valuable lesson that she knows to learn from for next time she attends a Hornets game. Keep the phone safely put away in your pocket until a timeout.
