George to make Pacers return soon: Indiana star nearing comeback.
George has missed the entire season so far after he sustained a broken leg while on duty with Team USA ahead of the FIBA World Cup last summer.
The Pacers star missed the tournament and has been going through the rehabilitation process for the past eight months in a bid to return this season.
While that looked unlikely for a time, he continued to step up his efforts in practice and has finally made his return when the Pacers needed him most.
George initially suggested that he would sit out as the team were performing well without him, but Frank Vogel’s men have been inconsistent more recently and needed a boost.
Indiana are currently involved in the playoff race in the East and they will be delighted to see their franchise player back on the court and helping their bid to make the post-season.
