Stirling hit a half-century as the Irish raced to a four-wicket win over their supposedly superior opposition with 25 balls to spare, with John Mooney hitting the winning runs just as he did against England in 2011.
George Dockrell also played a big part with the spinner taking the key wickets of Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels and Denesh Ramdin in quick succession.
