An early strike from Antonio Di Natale proved enough to help Udinese overcome Pescara in Serie A.
Pescara were stunned by Udinese at home in Serie A to leave their season in real trouble.
The home side are now on just 21 points, along with fellow strugglers Palermo and Siena, and all three are now five points from safety.
As for Udinese, they were once again helped by one of the best players in their history – Antonio Di Natale.
The veteran forward – 35 years old last October – grabbed his eighteenth goal of the season after eight minutes to hand Udinese all three points.
He poached from close range following a cross from Luis Muriel.
Di Natale has been a revelation for Udinese since signing in 2004, with 177 goals for the team in that time.
His strike today was his 250th in his career – a landmark that deserves congratulation regardless of club affiliation.
