Penguins conquer Toronto and return home with the win.
The Pittsburgh Penguins sealed a 5-4 shootout win over the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night, leaving them hot on the heels of the Montreal Canadiens at the top of the Eastern Conference.
PIttsburgh remain second in the East, and for the second Saturday in a row they visited Canada and went beyond regulation to win a high-scoring game.
Last week they were in Montreal where they got the better of the Canadiens and left with a 7-6 overtime victory.
The result on Saturday extends their winning streak to four, and they will be further boosted by coming out on top in a thrilling game.
The Penguins took a 3-1 lead after the first period, but were continuously pegged back throughout the game as the Leafs made it 4-4 at the end of the third.
