Twenty-five goals hit the net in across nine Premier League games on Saturday and Sunday, as Southampton, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, Leicester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all recorded wins.
Players of 10 different nationalities got on the scoresheet, including Spain’s Juan Mata, Italy’s Graziano Pelle, Germany’s Robert Huth, Scotland’s Darren Fletcher and Argentina’s Sergio Aguero.
Of the aforementioned stars, just one – Man United midfielder Mata – gets on this list, which features the top five goals of the weekend.
