Celtics treating every game like it’s game seven against the New York Knicks.
Attempting to become the first team in NBA Playoff history to erase a 3-0 deficit in a best of seven series, the Boston Celtics are taking it one game at a time, with head coach Doc Rivers saying his team are treating every night like it is game seven.
Rivers was quick to suggests that the pressure is still on his team to make the plays, and challenged his squad to step up for the remainder of the series.
On the back of a superb performance by Kevin Garnett, who had 16 points and 18 rebounds on the night, the Celtics were able to go to Madison Square Garden and take game five. If they can replicate the performance in front of their own fans, then game seven beckons, which could be a historical night in the NBA.
