Parisians hold the edge gong into the return fixture in France.
Valencia head coach Ernesto Valverde has admitted that the La Liga side were totally outplayed by big spending Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 cash at the Mestalla three weeks ago.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side left southern Spain with a highly creditable 2-1 victory, although it could have been even worse for Valverde and co., who needed a late strike to cut the deficit in half, while they will also take great heart from the fact that key PSG front man Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not play any part in the second leg at the Parc des Princes having been shown a straight red card in stoppage time in Valencia.
However, Valencia will travel to the French capital in good form on Wednesday night having lost on just the one occasion in their previous ten league outings, and even that was against La Liga title holders Real Madrid.
