The Seattle Seahawks are in danger of being eliminated from the playoffs and not returning to the Super Bowl as they trailed, 16-0, in the third quarter against the Green Bay Packers.
It looked like they were going to have to settle for a field goal on their latest offensive drive as they were in a 4th-and-10 situation.
However, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll had other plans as punter Jon Ryan got up and threw a touchdown pass to offensive tackle Garry Gilliam on a trick play. Ryan is the holder for the Seahawks, and he did what the offense has failed to do the whole game.
The Packers lead the Seahawks, 16-7, with just under five minutes remaining in the third quarter.
Here is a video from Vine of the Seahawks executing this gutsy play.
