Pune skipper Angelo Mathews has criticised his batsmen after they threw away a winning lead in the last three overs against Hyderabad.
Pune Warriors India saw a winning position of 106-6 collapse to 108 all-out against SunRisers Hyderabad on Wednesday, leading captain Angelo Mathews to call his side’s batting ‘pathetic.’
Mathews only managed 20 runs himself, whilst their last three batsmen were all out for ducks as SunRisers’ spinner Amit Mishra ripped through Pune’s order.
The Sri Lankan skipper believes that the franchise should have easily won the match and that it was two points thrown away.
