Pune assistant coach Pravin Amre says the side have no regrets after getting Ashok Dinda to bowl at the death.
After Pune Warriors 41-run defeat to Mumbai Indians on Saturday questions were raised over the decision to get Ashok Dinda to bowl in the crucial last overs of the IPL match.
Dinda conceded 63 runs in his four overs and his inability to make any impression with the ball largely contributed to Mumbai’s winning total of 183-3.
Yet Pune assistant coach Pravin Amre has defended the side’s decision to bowl Dinda at the death, despite Bhuvneshwar Kuamr and Aaron Finch still having two overs left from their quota.
