Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon is having himself an incredible game and making himself a Heisman Trophy frontrunner.
The Badgers are destroying the Badgers, 52-17, in the fourth quarter. Gordon rushed for his fourth touchdown of the day on a 26-yard run and broke the NCAA record for rushing yards in a single game by reaching 408 yards on just 25 carries.
The record was previously held by LaDainian Tomlinson of TCU, who rushed for 406 yards in a game in 1999. Gordon now has 23 rushing touchdowns on the season and is likely a game away from reaching 2,000 rushing yards.
Here is a video from Vine of Gordon breaking the single game rushing record.
