Ajaccio not quite safe despite away draw.
AC Ajaccio cannot call themselves safe from relegation just yet as they were only able to pick up a point away from home at Rennes.
Diawara gave the away side an early lead, as he put them ahead after just five minutes, however Ajaccio were unable to capitalize on this excellent start by failing to convert a number of chances.
Rennes made them pay as Erdinc put them back on level terms in first half injury time, in what was their only real chance on goal in the entire first half.
With an even second half, Ajaccio will be left ruing missed opportunities, but will be safe in the knowledge that a draw next week will be enough to keep themselves in Ligue 1 next season.
