Saint Etienne miss the chance to go second after draw at Rennes.
44′ [1 – 0] R. Danze
45′ [1 – 1] Y. Mollo
51′ [2 – 1] J. Feret
65′ [2 – 2] P.E. Aubameyang
Saint Etienne missed the chance to climb above third-placed Marseille, as they had to settle for a point after an entertaining 2-2 draw with Rennes.
Goals from Romain Danze and Julien Feret twice put Rennes into the lead but Yohan Mollo and the in-form Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pegged the hosts back.
Having won just once in their last six Ligue 1 games before tonight, Rennes will be happier of the two teams with a point against a Saint Etienne side that had claimed six victories out of seven before the match, and look in a good position to qualify for Champions League foootball next season.
