Not cool, Rory, not cool.
Northern Irishman Rory McIlroy was a very popular man when he became the second 21st century British winner of the Open Championship on Sunday.
However, his popularity plummeted when he was caught on camera snubbing a young boy, who simply wanted the champion’s autograph.
In addition to refusing to sign his name for the lad, McIlroy rather rudely pushed the eager kid away.
Watch the incident below and then scroll down to see some tweets from disapproving witnesses.
Rory McIlroy’s autograph incident with the kid there sums him up for me. Don’t forget this guy dumped his fiancée over the phone. #classless — Gary Kelly (@maxcouch) July 20, 2014
