Double-double from DeMarcus Cousins too hot for Suns.
Despite being at the wrong end of the Western Conference and being out of play-off contention, the Sacramento Kings have enjoyed some recent success.
Following their 117-103 win over the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, they made it six wins in their last 10 games as they push their record to 27-46 for the season.
In contrast, Phoenix have now lost five straight and nine of their last 10 as they sit bottom of the standings in the West.
Unfortunately for Suns coach Lindsey Hunter, they came up against an inspired DeMarcus Cousins who secured a double-double with a season-high 34 points and 14 rebounds.
The Kings will hope to continue building on their current form when they host the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night, while the Suns welcome the Indiana Pacers.
