Nuggets roll on as they move their winning streak to 15 on Saturday night.
The Denver Nuggets held on to third spot in the Western Conference, following their 101-95 win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
Their 15th consecutive win took their record for the season to 49-22, and improved a home record which stands at an impressive 32-3.
Danilo Gallinari top scored with 19 points, while Kenneth Faried had 17 and nine rebounds as the Nuggets finished with six players in double scoring figures including all five starters.
DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 24 points and 15 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough against a Denver team who are showing signs of weakness.
Similar to their win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, they needed a strong fourth quarter finish to atone for a sluggish third in order to secure the win.
They will hope to be more convincing when they take on the New Orleans Hornets on Monday to make it 16 straight wins, while the Kings are back in action on Sunday when they take on the Phoenix Suns.
