The Thunder clinch the top seed in the Western Conference.
The Oklahoma City Thunder held off the Sacramento Kings on Monday night to seal a 104-95 win which ultimately clinched the top seed in the Western Conference.
OKC secured their 60th win of the season thanks to another strong display from Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook who had 29 and 21 points respectively.
The Kings were led by point guard Isaiah Thomas, who finished with 16 points and hit four three-pointers, while DeMarcus Cousins was disappointingly held to just seven points.
It is the first time the Thunder have secured the top seed in the West, and will now be looking to make use of the benefits that come with that when they begin their play-off campaign.
It is still undecided as to who they will face, with both the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers battling it out for the eighth and final play-off spot. The Thunder end their regular season against the Milwaukee Bucks, while the Kings host the Los Angeles Clippers.
