Ten man Sampdoria continue to look over their shoulder after devastating home loss.
Fiorentina kept their Europa League hopes alive after they went to Sampdoria and produced a fine display to secure all three points in a comfortable 3-0 win.
Cuadrado, Ljajic and Aquiliani provided the goals as the away side were never threatened by the poor home side, who then had their day made worse by having Gastaldello sent off with ten minutes to go.
Sampdoria are only nine points from safety, regardless if there are only five games left, they cannot afford to perform like this at home any more.
