Gregg Popovich lauded his team’s attitude as they swept the injury-riddled Lakers 4-0.
Even though the Lakers were without Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash, San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was pleased with the way his team performed throughout the series, and praised their mental toughness to compete at a high level despite the media scrutiny.
The Spurs sealed the 4-0 clean sweep with a 103-82 road win, and stake their claim as the strongest team in the Western Conference.
There are bound to be bigger challengers to the Spurs than the Lakers were in this series, and the team must ready themselves for a step up in ability very soon.
